Overview

LTC004 is a novel cytokine agonist specifically designed to target the interleukin-2 receptor beta and gamma (IL-2Rβ/γ) subunits. It acts as an IL-2Rβ/γ cytokine agonist with selective affinity, preferentially stimulating CD8+ effector T cells and natural killer (NK) cells—key immune cell types involved in anti-tumor activity—while minimizing activation of immunosuppressive regulatory T cells. This selectivity aims to enhance anti-tumor efficacy while reducing toxicity commonly associated with non-selective IL-2 therapies. Preclinical studies have demonstrated significant in vitro and in vivo anti-tumor activity across multiple cell lines and animal models. LTC004 is being developed for intravenous administration, typically once every three weeks, for patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors who have failed standard therapies[1][3][6]. Clinical trials are ongoing to evaluate its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, and preliminary efficacy both as monotherapy and in combination regimens[1][4][6].
