LTC008

LTC008 is a pegylated recombinant interleukin-21 (IL-21) protein being developed by Letolab for the treatment of solid tumors. As an IL-21 receptor agonist, it is designed to enhance the immune system's ability to identify and destroy cancer cells by promoting the expansion and activation of CD8+ cytotoxic T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. The pegylation of the IL-21 protein is intended to extend its systemic half-life and improve its pharmacokinetic properties compared to non-modified cytokines, potentially allowing for less frequent dosing and improved efficacy. Currently at the development candidate stage, LTC008 represents a cytokine-based immunotherapy approach aimed at providing sustained anti-tumor activity in various solid malignancies.
