Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LTR-Memvaxraleucel is an autologous memory T-cell-based immunotherapy developed by APAC Biotech for the treatment of recurrent or metastatic solid tumors. The therapy involves the ex vivo isolation, activation, and expansion of a patient's own central memory (Tcm) and effector memory (Tem) T cells, which are primed to recognize tumor-associated antigens. By leveraging the long-lived, self-renewing, and potent anti-tumor properties of memory T-cell subsets, LTR-Memvaxraleucel aims to provide a sustained and durable immune response against advanced malignancies. This personalized cell therapy is designed to overcome the transient efficacy often observed with conventional T-cell treatments by ensuring the persistence of tumor-reactive cells in the patient's circulation. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials in India.
