Overview

**LTSL-BPNF-doxorubicin** is an experimental lysolipid temperature-sensitive liposomal nanoparticle formulation that co-encapsulates black phosphorus nanoflakes and doxorubicin for light-triggered prostate-cancer therapy. Near-infrared laser exposure activates the black phosphorus component to generate photothermal heating and reactive oxygen species, while the temperature-sensitive liposome promotes doxorubicin release. Doxorubicin contributes cytotoxic activity through DNA intercalation and topoisomerase II poisoning. The formulation showed antiproliferative activity in in-vitro PC-3 and DU 145 prostate-cancer models, with enhanced activity following near-infrared irradiation; it has not been reported as a clinical-stage or marketed product.
