LTX-328 is a synthetic peptide designed as a non-lytic, non-oncolytic control peptide, structurally related to the oncolytic peptide LTX-302, but unlike LTX-302, LTX-328 does not exhibit cytotoxic or anticancer activity in preclinical models. It has been used primarily as a negative control peptide in experimental studies investigating antimicrobial or anticancer peptides. LTX-328 is a 9-mer peptide composed to mimic certain physicochemical properties of its parent peptide but lacks the oncolytic, immunogenic, or cytotoxic effects of other related peptides in vitro and in vivo[1].
