This is a combination drug consisting of **LU AG06466** (also known as ABX-1431, later renamed Elcubragistat), **aluminum hydroxide**, and **magnesium hydroxide**. LU AG06466 is a potent, selective inhibitor of **monoacylglycerol lipase** (MAGL)—an enzyme that degrades the endocannabinoid 2-arachidonoylglycerol. By inhibiting MAGL, LU AG06466 enhances endocannabinoid signaling, which has been investigated for therapeutic benefits in conditions like Tourette syndrome and fibromyalgia. Aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide are widely used antacids that work by neutralizing gastric acid for relief of heartburn and indigestion; magnesium hydroxide also acts as a mild laxative, counterbalancing the constipating effects of aluminum hydroxide. The combination would deliver both endocannabinoid system modulation and acid neutralization.
