Lu AG09222 + ubrogepant

**Lu AG09222 + ubrogepant** is an experimental combination of two investigational/approved drugs for migraine: Lu AG09222, a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the neuropeptide pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP), and ubrogepant, an approved oral small-molecule antagonist of the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor. Lu AG09222 is being developed primarily as a preventive therapy for migraine, binding PACAP with high affinity and preventing its interaction with PACAP receptors (PAC1, VPAC1, VPAC2), thereby inhibiting PACAP-mediated vasodilation and nociception. Ubrogepant acts by antagonizing the CGRP receptor, a validated target in acute migraine therapy, impeding CGRP-mediated neurogenic inflammation and vasodilation.
