Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LUB017 is a novel, preclinical-stage dual-targeting T-cell engager (TCE) designed to simultaneously target B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and CD19, with a low-affinity CD3-binding arm. Developed by Qilu Pharmaceutical, LUB017 is engineered to achieve deep and complete depletion of pathogenic B cells and plasma cells, as well as a prolonged reduction of autoantibodies, while minimizing the risk of cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS). Preclinical studies in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) models have demonstrated its ability to rapidly clear autoantibodies, eliminate renal IgG deposits, and induce a complete loss of germinal center and follicular architecture, supporting its potential as a therapeutic candidate for SLE and other antibody-driven autoimmune diseases.
