Lubragel

Lubragel is a sterile, water-soluble, CE-marked Class III medical device designed for use as a lubricating gel during medical procedures such as urethral catheterization, endoscopy, and cystoscopy. It is formulated with lidocaine hydrochloride, which acts as a local anesthetic to minimize pain during the insertion of medical devices, with an onset of action within 3-5 minutes and a duration of 20-30 minutes. In addition to its primary lubricating function, Lubragel possesses antiseptic properties to reduce the risk of iatrogenic infection and helps prevent trauma to the urethral, rectal, or colonic mucosa. It is typically supplied in pre-filled, sterile disposable syringes (6ml, 11ml, 12.5ml) for clinical convenience.
