Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lucan-Sartuzumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody being investigated for the treatment of advanced, unresectable, or metastatic intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC). It is currently the primary therapeutic agent in the SPICE Trial (ChiCTR2600119932), a single-arm Phase II clinical study sponsored by Lishui Central Hospital in China. The trial evaluates the efficacy and safety of Lucan-Sartuzumab when administered in a multimodal regimen alongside cryoablation and immune checkpoint inhibitors (immunotherapy) for patients who have progressed after at least one prior systemic therapy. As a humanized antibody, Lucan-Sartuzumab is designed to target specific tumor-associated antigens, potentially facilitating an enhanced anti-tumor immune response and improving outcomes in biliary tract cancers.
