Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lucid-201 is an orally administered, psychedelic-inspired small molecule being developed by Lucid Psycheceuticals, a subsidiary of FSD Pharma, for the treatment of major depressive disorder and other mental health conditions.[5][18] Preclinical data and prior clinical experience with the underlying known molecule support antidepressant potential, and Lucid-201 (also referred to as Lucid-PSYCH) is positioned as a next-generation psychoactive agent intended to deliver clinical efficacy with a differentiated safety and tolerability profile.[1][5][18] A first-in-human, double-blind, single-ascending-dose Phase 1 trial in healthy adults (LUCID-201-001) is underway to characterize safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamic effects of single oral doses.[13][16][17][18]
