Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lumipodlin (ABSK043) is an orally bioavailable, highly selective small molecule inhibitor of programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) developed by Abbisko Therapeutics. It works by selectively binding to PD-L1 and inducing its internalization from the cell surface, thereby blocking the interaction between PD-1 and PD-L1 and relieving PD-L1-mediated suppression of T-cell activation. Lumipodlin is currently in Phase I/II clinical development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), including in combination with EGFR inhibitors such as osimertinib (Tagrisso) and furmonertinib, as well as the KRAS G12C inhibitor glecirasib.
