Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Luobuma Tea Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal product manufactured by Ju Xie Chang. The formulation is primarily derived from the leaves of *Apocynum venetum* (Luobuma), a plant traditionally used in Chinese medicine for its antihypertensive and sedative properties. The product is processed into oral granules (historically referred to as an infusion or 'chongji') intended for the management of hypertension and associated symptoms such as dizziness, headache, palpitations, and insomnia. According to TCM theory, it functions by clearing heat, soothing the liver, and promoting diuresis. While Ju Xie Chang is best known for its evidence-based TCM product Jinhua Qinggan Granules, Luobuma Tea Granules is an established, approved variety within its commercial portfolio of marketed TCM products.
