Overview
LURVLYSIS is an oncolytic virus therapy being developed by CZ BioMed for the treatment of lung cancer. It is a component of the RVLYSIS platform, which utilizes genetically engineered human Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) to selectively target and replicate within malignant cells. The virus is designed to induce apoptosis in cancer cells and trigger a systemic anti-tumor immune response while sparing healthy tissue. Currently in the preclinical development phase, LURVLYSIS is one of several cancer-specific product candidates in CZ BioMed's pipeline, each leveraging the natural cell-killing properties of a modified common cold-derived virus.
