Lutetium (177Lu) tezuvotide tetraxetan is an investigational radiopharmaceutical consisting of the β- and γ-emitting radionuclide lutetium-177 chelated to a tetraxetan-based linker and conjugated to tezuvotide, a peptide ligand designed to selectively bind a tumor-associated cell-surface target, enabling targeted delivery of ionizing radiation to malignant cells while sparing normal tissues. As a peptide-based radioligand therapy, it is being developed for oncology indications, with patients selected based on target expression by molecular imaging, and is administered in repeated intravenous cycles with dosimetry and safety monitoring typical of 177Lu-based targeted radionuclide therapies.
