RAD-502 is a radiolabeled therapeutic monoclonal antibody designed to target leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 15 (LRRC15), a cell surface protein overexpressed in various tumors. The drug consists of a humanized monoclonal antibody conjugated with the radioisotope lutetium-177, enabling targeted radioimmunotherapy. By binding to LRRC15 on tumor cells, RAD-502 delivers localized radiation intended to halt tumor progression and prolong survival. It was initially developed by Radiopharm Theranostics for the treatment of neoplasms such as osteosarcoma and other cancers but has been discontinued in preclinical development[2][3][4].
