Lutetium Lu-177 JH020002 is a targeted radiopharmaceutical under development for the treatment of prostate specific membrane antigen-positive (PSMA+) metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) and potentially other forms of prostate cancer. It is a novel targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT) designed to deliver radiation directly to cancer cells expressing PSMA, causing DNA damage and cell death. Preclinical data suggest improved efficacy over currently approved agents (such as Pluvicto) in models with both high and mid-to-low PSMA expression. Clinical trials are ongoing to assess its safety, pharmacokinetics, dosimetry, and efficacy in adults with advanced prostate cancer.[3][1]
