Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lutetium Lu 177 LNC1008 (177Lu-LNC1008) is a target-specific therapeutic radiopharmaceutical (radioligand therapy) developed by Yantai Lannacheng Biotechnology, a subsidiary of Dongcheng Pharmaceutical. It consists of a targeting ligand (LNC1008) that specifically binds to integrin αvβ3 (alpha-v beta-3), conjugated to the beta-emitting radionuclide lutetium-177 (177Lu). Integrin αvβ3 is highly expressed in various solid tumors and tumor-associated neovasculature, but has low expression in normal tissues. By delivering targeted radiation directly to integrin αvβ3-positive tumor cells, 177Lu-LNC1008 induces DNA damage and cell death while minimizing damage to healthy tissues. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of integrin αvβ3-positive advanced malignant solid tumors.
