Lutetium Lu-177 SN201 is a novel radiopharmaceutical therapy developed by Spago Nanomedical for the treatment of cancer, including solid tumors. It consists of nanoparticles labeled with the beta-emitting radioisotope lutetium-177 (^177Lu^), designed to deliver targeted ionizing radiation directly to tumor tissue. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that ^177Lu^-SN201 exhibits superior anti-tumor efficacy compared to standard chemotherapeutic agents and immune checkpoint inhibitors in aggressive breast cancer models, with significant tumor suppression and prolonged survival. The agent is currently being evaluated in phase I/II clinical trials for late-stage, inoperable/unresectable, refractory metastatic, recurrent cancers or as second-line therapy or greater[2][4].
