Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lutikizumab + ABBV-701 is an investigational combination therapy being developed by AbbVie for the treatment of moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). The combination consists of lutikizumab (ABT-981), a dual-variable-domain immunoglobulin (DVD-Ig) that neutralizes both interleukin-1 alpha (IL-1α) and interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β), and ABBV-701 (FG-M701), a fully human monoclonal antibody targeting tumor necrosis factor-like ligand 1A (TL1A). By simultaneously targeting the IL-1α/β and TL1A pathways, the combination is designed to address multiple complementary inflammatory cascades to improve clinical outcomes in patients with HS. AbbVie plans to evaluate this combination as part of an HS platform study program.
