Luxuejin is a directly-oral traditional Chinese medicine product (TCMP) developed and manufactured by China SXT Pharmaceuticals. It is produced using fresh blood from Cuerus Nippon (sika deer), which undergoes a lyophilization (freeze-drying) process to create crystal-like scales for oral administration. The product is indicated for elevating platelet and white blood cell counts, improving body immunity, anti-radiation effects, alleviating drug toxicity, and enhancing sexual function. Additional reported indications include dizziness, tinnitus, joint pain, hyperuricemia, gout, hypertension, and other symptoms. Its purported functions are clearing heat, calming the liver, dredging collaterals (improving circulation), and relieving pain[1][2][3]. The mechanism of action is not well characterized in Western pharmacological terms due to its basis in traditional Chinese medicine.
