Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LV UNO + anti-PD-1 inhibitor is an investigational combination immunotherapy being developed by Beyond Cancer, a subsidiary of Beyond Air. The therapy consists of the intratumoral administration of low-volume, ultra-high concentration nitric oxide (UNO) gas in combination with a systemic anti-PD-1 immune checkpoint inhibitor. The mechanism involves using UNO to modify the tumor microenvironment, specifically by increasing PD-L1 expression and activating local immune responses, which is intended to sensitize tumors to PD-1 blockade. This combination is primarily being evaluated for patients with unresectable cutaneous or subcutaneous solid tumors who have progressed on or shown resistance to prior anti-PD-1 monotherapy.
