Overview

LVIVO-TaVec122 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the CD19 antigen. It is being developed by Lvivo Biotech in collaboration with The First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell malignancies, including non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). The therapy utilizes Lvivo Biotech's proprietary TaVec (Targeted Vector) platform for site-specific gene integration to engineer a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically recognizes CD19, a protein widely expressed on the surface of B-lineage cells. Once re-infused into the patient, these engineered cells are designed to identify and eliminate malignant B cells. LVIVO-TaVec122 is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in adult patients.
