Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LVK201 is an ex vivo engineered CAR-T cell therapy being developed by Laverock Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapy is built on Laverock's proprietary GEiPS (Gene Editing induced Gene Silencing) platform, which utilizes programmable gene silencing via recoded microRNAs (miRNAs) to modulate gene expression within the therapeutic cells. This approach is designed to enhance the efficacy, persistence, and performance of CAR-T cells, particularly in overcoming the immunosuppressive microenvironment characteristic of solid tumors. As of early 2024, LVK201 is in the preclinical research stage and is subject to active partnering discussions.
