Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LVRNA010 is a SARS-CoV-2 variant mRNA vaccine candidate developed by AIM Vaccine Co., Ltd. for the prevention of COVID-19. The vaccine utilizes messenger RNA technology to encode the spike protein of a SARS-CoV-2 variant, encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for delivery. Once administered, the mRNA is translated by host cells to produce the spike protein, which triggers an immune response, including the production of neutralizing antibodies and activation of T cells. As of 2023, it is in Phase 1 clinical development to evaluate its safety and immunogenicity in healthy adults.
