Overview
LW108 is an orally administered small molecule MDM2 inhibitor under development by Shanghai Longwood Biopharmaceuticals for the treatment of tumors. By targeting MDM2 (mouse double minute 2 homolog), LW108 prevents the degradation of the tumor suppressor protein p53, thereby promoting cell apoptosis in cancer cells. The drug is currently in preclinical development.
