LX-039

LX-039 is a highly potent, selective, and orally active small molecule classified as a selective estrogen receptor degrader (SERD) and estrogen receptor antagonist. It is designed to target the estrogen receptor alpha (ERα), leading to its degradation and antagonism of its activity. LX-039 was developed by Shandong Luoxin Pharmaceutical and originated from WuXi AppTec. The drug has demonstrated strong anti-tumor activity in preclinical models, including both wild-type and tamoxifen-resistant breast cancer xenografts, with favorable pharmacokinetic properties. Currently, LX-039 is in phase I clinical trials for the treatment of advanced or metastatic estrogen receptor-positive (ER+)/HER2-negative breast cancer[2][3][4][6].
