Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LXM-6 is a preclinical-stage small molecule therapeutic being developed by Laxxon Medical for the treatment of renal cell carcinoma. The drug is a 505(b)(2) reformulation of an existing, previously approved active pharmaceutical ingredient, utilizing Laxxon's proprietary SPID® (Screen Printed Innovative Drug) technology. This 3D screen-printing platform allows for the creation of complex oral dosage forms with precise, multi-phasic release profiles and improved bioavailability. By optimizing the delivery of established oncology treatments, LXM-6 aims to enhance efficacy and reduce side effects compared to conventional formulations.
