**LXM.2** is a preclinical oral glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonist formulation developed by Laxxon Medical for obesity, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome. It is an enteric-coated, once-daily 3D screen-printed tablet that combines an undisclosed GLP-1 receptor agonist with a permeation enhancer to protect the peptide in the upper gastrointestinal tract and improve intestinal absorption. Laxxon reported pilot nonclinical pharmacokinetic results in pigs supporting the formulation concept and is advancing conventional-tablet and microtablet versions using its SPID manufacturing platform.
