LY-3885125 is an investigational small interfering RNA (siRNA) drug developed by Eli Lilly for the treatment of dyslipidemia, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). It is administered subcutaneously and acts by targeting sterol regulatory element-binding protein cleavage-activating protein (SCAP), a key regulator in lipid metabolism. By inhibiting SCAP, the drug aims to modulate cholesterol and lipid homeostasis. As of early 2025, clinical development had reached Phase 1 trials but has since been discontinued[1][3][4].
