Overview

LY01013 is a small molecule dual inhibitor of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) and tryptophan 2,3-dioxygenase (TDO), developed by Luye Pharma Group for the treatment of solid tumors. Both IDO and TDO are enzymes that catalyze the degradation of the essential amino acid tryptophan into kynurenine, a process that suppresses T-cell activity and promotes immune tolerance within the tumor microenvironment. By inhibiting both enzymes, LY01013 is designed to restore the immune system's ability to recognize and attack cancer cells. It was approved as a Class I new chemical entity for clinical trials in China in 2018 and entered early-stage clinical development as part of Luye Pharma's oncology pipeline.
