Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LY010616 (also known as LY01616) is an investigational liposomal formulation co-encapsulating irinotecan and floxuridine, developed by Luye Pharma Group. Irinotecan is a topoisomerase I inhibitor, while floxuridine is a fluoropyrimidine antimetabolite. By co-encapsulating these two synergistic chemotherapy agents in a liposome delivery system, the drug aims to optimize the drug ratio and delivery to tumor tissues, potentially enhancing efficacy and reducing systemic toxicity compared to conventional administration. It is currently being evaluated in Phase I/II clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
