Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LY011 is a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2). It is being developed for the treatment of advanced gastric adenocarcinoma and pancreatic cancer. The therapy involves T lymphocytes that have been genetically modified to express a CAR that specifically targets CLDN18.2, which is expressed in certain solid tumors. This allows the modified T cells to recognize and attack cancer cells expressing this antigen.
