LY02003 (also known as LPM5260558) is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting **Basigin** (CD147), currently under development by **Luye Pharma** for the treatment of stroke. CD147 is a transmembrane glycoprotein that plays a critical role in the inflammatory response and the induction of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), which contribute to blood-brain barrier disruption and neuronal damage following ischemic injury. By binding to and inhibiting CD147, LY02003 aims to mitigate neuroinflammation and provide neuroprotective effects in patients with acute ischemic stroke.
