LY3972406 is an orally administered, small-molecule, highly selective Kv1.3 potassium channel inhibitor being developed for the treatment of moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis and autoimmune diseases. It works by blocking the voltage-gated potassium channel subunit Kv1.3, which plays a role in immune system regulation. The drug was originally developed by D E Shaw Research and is currently being advanced by Eli Lilly and Company through clinical trials.
