Overview

LY900003 (also known as aprinocarsen, ISIS 3521, or Affinitak) is an antisense oligonucleotide that selectively inhibits the expression of protein kinase C-alpha (PKC-α), a serine/threonine kinase implicated in malignant transformation and cell proliferation[1][2][5][4]. Gemcitabine is a nucleoside analog that inhibits DNA synthesis, and cisplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapy that induces DNA crosslinking and apoptosis.
