Overview

Lyase PB72K is a recombinant enzyme developed by Proteos Biotech, a Spanish biotechnology company. It is a core component of the PBSerum product line, which utilizes recombinant enzymes for aesthetic and therapeutic applications. Lyase PB72K functions by enzymatically degrading polysaccharides within the extracellular matrix (ECM), specifically targeting components that contribute to edema and tissue congestion. This degradation increases tissue permeability and enhances the diffusion of other active substances. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of post-surgical fibrosis, scars, cellulite, and localized fat, and is also used in facial rejuvenation to improve skin health and texture. The enzyme is produced using proprietary bacterial-origin recombinant DNA technology and is supplied as a lyophilized powder to ensure maximum enzymatic activity upon reconstitution for injection.
