Overview

LYB002V14A is a recombinant trivalent protein vaccine developed for COVID-19. It targets three SARS-CoV-2 variants (XBB.1, BQ.1.1, and the prototype strain) and is produced using Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. The vaccine is administered intramuscularly as a booster following a primary series of inactivated COVID-19 vaccines in adults. Its mechanism of action involves inducing an immune response against the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 to provide protection against infection[1][2][7]. Clinical trials are ongoing to assess its safety and immunogenicity.
