Overview

LYB017 is an investigational recombinant malaria vaccine developed by Patronus Biotech. It is designed using the company's proprietary Universal Virus-Like Particle (U-VLP®) technology platform, which presents antigens in a highly immunogenic particulate format to elicit robust humoral and cellular immune responses. LYB017 is formulated with the A02B adjuvant, a synthetic saponin-based adjuvant system containing QS-21 and monophosphoryl lipid A (MPL) designed to enhance vaccine efficacy. The vaccine is currently being evaluated in a Phase I clinical trial to assess its safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity in healthy adults.
