Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LycellVax is a polyvalent cancer vaccine developed by Oncobiomed, a Chilean biotechnology company. It consists of an immunogenic tumor cell lysate derived from multiple tumor cell lines, designed to expose the patient's immune system to a broad array of tumor-associated antigens. The vaccine aims to induce a robust, polyvalent antitumor immune response, overcoming the limitations of single-antigen vaccines. LycellVax is a core component of Oncobiomed's TAPCells technology, where it is used to pulse autologous dendritic cells to enhance their ability to prime T-cells against cancer. Clinical development has reached Phase 1/2 for indications including melanoma, prostate cancer, and colon cancer.
