LYNC-101

LYNC-101 is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed by LyncBio Therapeutics for the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. It selectively targets the p19 subunit of interleukin-23 (IL-23), a key pro-inflammatory cytokine involved in the differentiation and maintenance of Th17 cells, which are central to the pathogenesis of chronic intestinal inflammation. By specifically inhibiting IL-23 without affecting interleukin-12 (IL-12), LYNC-101 aims to provide potent anti-inflammatory effects while potentially minimizing the risk of adverse events associated with broader cytokine inhibition. The drug is currently undergoing Phase I clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profile in healthy volunteers and patients.
