Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lysiplex is a liquid multivitamin and mineral supplement developed and marketed by Kramer Novis. It is specifically formulated with a combination of the essential amino acid L-lysine, B-complex vitamins (thiamine, pyridoxine, and cyanocobalamin), and iron (as ferric ammonium citrate). L-lysine is included to support protein synthesis and is traditionally used to help stimulate appetite and promote growth in pediatric and geriatric populations. The B-vitamins act as essential cofactors in various metabolic pathways, including carbohydrate metabolism and red blood cell production, while iron is a critical component of hemoglobin for oxygen transport. Lysiplex is primarily indicated for the prevention and treatment of nutritional deficiencies and to support overall metabolic health.
