LYV001

LYV001 is a preclinical-stage therapeutic tumor vaccine developed by Beijing Liangyuan Biomedical Research (良远生物). It specifically targets Mucin-1 (MUC-1), a transmembrane glycoprotein that is frequently overexpressed and aberrantly glycosylated in a wide range of epithelial malignancies, including breast, lung, and pancreatic cancers. By presenting MUC-1 antigens to the immune system, LYV001 aims to stimulate a robust T-cell mediated immune response to recognize and destroy MUC-1-positive tumor cells. The asset is currently in the early stages of development, with pipeline projections suggesting progress through 2030.
