Overview

Lyvepodimab (KB001) is a bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Kekkan Biologics, currently in preclinical development for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The molecule is designed to simultaneously target Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) and Lymphatic Vessel-derived Regulatory Factor (LVRF). By inhibiting PD-1, lyvepodimab acts as a checkpoint inhibitor to restore T-cell mediated anti-tumor immunity. The targeting of LVRF, a factor associated with the tumor vasculature and lymphatic environment, is intended to modulate the tumor microenvironment to enhance therapeutic efficacy. The program has demonstrated in vitro and in vivo proof-of-concept and has undergone humanization.
