Overview
LZSN2501 is a recombinant humanized bi-epitopic bispecific antibody designed to target coagulation factor XI (FXI). It simultaneously binds to both the A2 domain and the catalytic domain of FXI, exerting a dual-mechanism anticoagulant effect by inhibiting FXI activation and blocking FXIa enzymatic activity. This next-generation anticoagulant approach aims to decouple antithrombotic efficacy from bleeding risk by targeting the intrinsic coagulation pathway. Developed by Livzon Monoclonal Antibody Biotech (a subsidiary of Livzon Pharmaceutical Group) and its parent company Joincare Pharmaceutical Group, LZSN2501 is being evaluated in clinical trials for the prevention of venous thromboembolism (VTE) following total knee arthroplasty (TKA).
