Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ménoa is a non-hormonal dietary supplement developed by Laboratoires Élerté for the management of symptoms associated with menopause and perimenopause, such as hot flashes, night sweats, and fatigue. The formulation contains PureCyTonin (a purified cytoplasmic pollen extract), Vitamin E, and Vitamin B6. Unlike many other menopause supplements, Ménoa does not contain phytoestrogens and does not exhibit estrogenic activity, making it suitable for women who have contraindications to hormone replacement therapy. The pollen extract is believed to act on the hypothalamic thermoregulatory center, potentially through the modulation of the serotonergic system, while Vitamin B6 supports the regulation of hormonal activity and Vitamin E provides antioxidant protection.
