Drug intelligence / Profile preview
M-001 is a therapeutic vaccine candidate developed by MGFB Bio, a subsidiary of Greenfire Bio, for the treatment of melanoma. The vaccine utilizes the proprietary Heteroclitic Epitope Activated Therapy (HEAT) platform, which is designed to elicit potent anti-tumor immune responses. The HEAT technology focuses on using heteroclitic epitopes—antigenic peptides that have been modified to increase their binding affinity to the T-cell receptor or MHC molecules compared to naturally occurring wild-type tumor antigens. This modification aims to bypass immune tolerance and more effectively activate a robust population of cytotoxic T-lymphocytes capable of identifying and destroying melanoma cells.
