Overview

M-002 is an experimental therapeutic vaccine in preclinical development for the treatment of glioma. Developed by MGFB Bio, a subsidiary of Greenfire Bio (formerly FairWinds Bio), the vaccine utilizes the proprietary Heteroclitic Epitope Activated Therapy (HEAT) platform. This technology, originally developed by Professor Richard Vile at the Mayo Clinic, is designed to elicit robust anti-tumor immune responses while specifically addressing challenges common to solid tumors, such as immune escape, tumor resistance, and low mutational burden. MGFB Bio was formed through a patent license agreement with the Mayo Clinic, with founding equity shared among FairWinds Bio, the University of Leeds, and the Mayo Clinic.
