Overview
M-004 is an investigational therapeutic cancer vaccine being developed by MGFB Bio, a subsidiary of Greenfire Bio, for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The vaccine is built upon the proprietary Heteroclitic Epitope Activated Therapy (HEAT) platform. This platform utilizes heteroclitic epitopes, which are modified peptide sequences of tumor-associated antigens designed to have a higher binding affinity for Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) molecules than their native counterparts. By increasing the stability of the peptide-MHC complex, M-004 aims to overcome immune tolerance and more effectively stimulate a potent cytotoxic T-lymphocyte response against HCC cells.
