Drug intelligence / Profile preview
M-Cain Cream is a professional-grade topical anesthetic cream formulated with 10.56% lidocaine. Developed by Maxcore Global, it is widely used in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, and clinical settings to provide rapid and effective local numbing of the skin prior to procedures such as microneedling, laser treatments, dermal filler injections, and tattooing. The active ingredient, lidocaine, is an amide-type local anesthetic that works by reversibly blocking voltage-gated sodium channels in neuronal cell membranes. This blockade inhibits the ionic fluxes required for the initiation and conduction of nerve impulses, temporarily eliminating the sensation of pain in the treated area.
